Business student and elite sport scholarship holder Benedict Eggeling celebrates an outstanding success: together with his team, he won the gold medal at the U23 European championships in Duisburg! The oarsmen were able to reach the first place with a considerable lead over their biggest competitors from Rumania and Italy. After this success, the team takes a well-earned break until the end of September, which is when the preparation for the next season begins. “This competition meant a lot to us because it was our first official regatta in 2020 due to the cancellation of the national season,” says Benedict Eggeling.
