The Mannheim Institute for Financial Education (MIFE) will introduce itself and host an inter- and transdisciplinary event with invited keynote speakers and other relevant researchers on topics related to financial literacy and financial education.

As part of the MIFE Inaugural Conference 2021, initiated by the newly founded Mannheim Institute for Financial Education (MIFE), invited keynote speakers and other relevant researchers will offer you insights into current research findings on financial literacy and financial education. In addition, the conference will provide an opportunity for exchange and networking between representatives from research, political and practical fields.

Look forward to the following keynote speakers:

  • Prof. Claudia Buch (Deutsche Bundes­ank)
  • Prof. Annamaria Lusardi(George Washington University, USA)
  • Prof. David Leiser (Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel)
  • Prof. Martin Weber (Universität Mannheim).

The MIFE Inaugural Conference will be held in a hybrid format (i.e., a combination of in-person and virtual participation).

Participants in the MIFE Inaugural Conference can register via a Zoom link that will be shared on the MIFE homepage. Participation in the MIFE Inaugural Conference and the MIFE Early Career Workshop is free of charge.
