Studying with Caregiving Responsibilities

Detailed information on the topic of academic leave of absence can be found on the Student Services website. During an academic leave of absence for the purpose of caring for a relative, you are permitted to attend courses and take examinations. For approval of the application, proof of registered caregiving status must be provided.

For courses with priority admission (e.g., seminars), you can e-mail the program managers responsible for your degree program during the course registration period to let them know which seminars suit your schedule. This allows us to ensure that your seminars do not conflict with your caregiving responsibilities.
