Artificial Intelligence at the University of Mannheim

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming research, teaching, learning, and administration—also at the University of Mannheim. The following page provides an overview of the use of AI applications, such as generative AI like ChatGPT. It demonstrates how AI shapes everyday university life, explains the associated opportunities and risks, and illustrates how our AI guideline provides guidance. The goal is to engage all university members, build knowledge, and reduce uncertainty to promote responsible and sustainable use of AI.
