ecUM Pick-up Service for First-Year Students
The University of Mannheim electronic card, or ecUM for short, is a student ID card, library card, and cashless payment method all in one. Once you have enrolled, the card will be created and sent to you by mail to the German postal address you provided.
From 25 August to 5 September 2025, the ecUM will be issued directly at the Express Service in L1 (entrance A, ground floor).

When should I pick up my ecUM?
You will receive an email as soon as your ecUM s is ready for pick-up.
What do I need to bear in mind?
Please bring a valid ID document with you when you pick up your ecUM.
