On campus
Café Soleil
The light-filled and modern Café Soleil is located in A5 which is in the immediate vicinity of the Library for Informatics, Mathematics, and Social Sciences. You can also take a break on the café’s sunny terrace in between lectures or during study breaks. Whether you fancy a latte macchiato, croissant or sandwich – the café serves a variety of snacks and drinks.
At the café, you can pay with the ecUM Card.Campus Shop
You can find the Campus Shop in the Ostflügel of the Schloss – right next to the Schneckenhof. Here you can have a small snack between lectures or buy a coffee to go.

Café EO is currently undergoing renovations, and is supposed to have its grand reopening in 2024. Alternatively, you can visit the MensaWagon and Coffeetainer at the Ehrenhof.

Under the slogan “mindful campus food”, greenes² at the Schlossmensa serves healthy, seasonal, and sustainable dishes as well as carbon-neutral and organic coffee.
Mensa at the Schloss
The Schlossmensa is located centrally behind the Schloss Westflügel – directly next to the Mensawiese. The Mensa offers a variety of seasonal and regional meals as well as a salad bar. You can also pick between vegetarian and vegan meals. The greenes² can also be found there.
At the Mensa, you can pay with the ecUM Card.
Off campus
Mannheim’s culinary offer has something for everybody: Around the area of the campus alone, you can enjoy a wide variety of food options such as Indian or Afghan rice dishes, seasonal salads, legendary baguettes, Japanese ramen dishes or Mexican quesadillas.
