Café EO Reopened

The cafeteria, run by the Studierendenwerk Mannheim since 1955 and rebranded as EO in 2005, has undergone a complete makeover as part of the larger modernization of the Ehrenhof Ost. Sustainability was at the heart of the renovation, with energy-efficient kitchen equipment and natural wood furnishings creating a more eco-friendly environment.
With seating for up to 200 people and a versatile mix of cafeteria, bar, and lounge spaces, EO is poised to once again become a central hub on campus. It’s not just a spot for students and staff but also a welcoming place for guests from outside the university.
