Changes to the File Service for Students

We are discontinuing the central file service for students and the respective individual storage space as of 16 February 2026.

After this date your data stored will no longer be available. The data will not be transferred to another system.

Please make sure to save or copy your data from your personal file before 16 February 2026 to another storage location.

Alternative storage solutions

Effective immediately, students have an extended storage of 100 GB on their One Drive in the M365 cloud at their disposal. They can access it by means of their free M365 license.

As an alternative to One Drive, students can save and share data that is not intended for the M365 cloud to bwSync&Share.

Please note:
On One Drive and bwSync&Share users are responsible for data backup themselves.
