Call for Open Science Grants 2025 |

Until 14 July, researchers at the University of Mannheim can apply for up to EUR 6,500 via the Open Science Grants.

With the Open Science Grants 2025, the University of Mannheim supports researchers who are committed to greater transparency, openness and reproducibility in science. Funding is available for projects and events that are clearly related to open science.

Doctoral candidates, postdocs and (junior) professors from all faculties at the University of Mannheim are eligible to apply. The maximum funding amount is 6,500 euros for a period of up to one year. Submissions from people with no previous experience in the field of Open Science are particularly welcome. The Open Science Office offers targeted support for this. An online information event will take place on Tuesday, 24 June from 2 pm to 3 pm.
