Equal Opportunity for All Genders
The university is committed to equal opportunity and takes gender diversity into account. The university not only wants to achieve equal opportunities for women and men, but also wants to overcome the binary concept of gender, i.e. the assumption that there are only two genders, at the university, because people who deviate from heteronormativity in their sexual identity or orientation are also at risk of discrimination in everyday university life. Students, administrative staff, teaching staff and researchers are currently working in various working groups to develop measures that will enable the university to do better justice to gender diversity and various queer realities.
