Staff Days at the University of Mannheim
A great atmosphere and a lot of new things to discover
On 13 and 14 May 2025, the Staff Days took place for the fourth time at the University of Mannheim on campus and in the Baroque Palace. Under the motto “One university – many faces,” staff members took advantage of the opportunity to discover previously unknown sides of the university and get to know colleagues from other departments and schools through workshops, health offers, guided tours, and various social events.
The program included
- guided tours, for example of the campus, the bunker, or the university archives
- portrait shoots
- mini game challenge on gender and diversity
- quiz tour of the President's Office
- fire drill
- experiments with VR glasses
- presentations, for example on nutrition trends and stays abroad.
There were also numerous opportunities for exchange and networking, such as speed networking, a sports team challenge for staff members, and an interactive lunch break in the ExpLAB. Far away from everyday work and in bright sunshine, the atmosphere was open and positive.
A dedicated organizing team from Division I and V put together the colorful program.
