Conference on Europe's Extreme Right

From 21 to 23 October, the University of Mannheim hosted the conference ‘Transnational Perspectives on Europe's Extreme Right’. Fourteen scholars from eight European countries – including Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Spain and Ukraine – attended the event. In a keynote speech and thematic panels, the participants approached the conference topic from a historical and social science perspective.
The aim of the conference was to bring young scholars together and enable them to network in a transnational, interdisciplinary setting. The conference, organised by the Chair of Contemporary History in cooperation with ENGAGE.EU, was funded by the University of Mannheim.
