Mentoring for female academics – programme offered by the University of Mannheim and LaKoG

The mentoring programme includes mentoring, training and networking and is aimed at female doctoral students, postdocs, habilitation candidates, junior professors and private lecturers. In addition to a mentoring tandem, workshops and networking events are offered to promote personal development for an academic career.
The various elements (training, mentoring relationship, counselling, networking, newsletter) can be used independently of each other and flexibly. If you are interested in a mentoring relationship, attending an orientation event is mandatory. Orientation events are usually offered twice a year.
The University of Mannheim has extended its cooperation with the state-wide MuT mentoring and training programme of the of the Conference of Equal Opportunities Officers at universities and academic institutions in Baden-Württemberg (LaKoG) and offers its female academics on the path to professorship the opportunity to participate. The programme is supported by the Ministry of Science, Research and Arts.
