New Edition: University Magazine FORUM 2/2025 Published

The magazine with the focus “Front and Center: Democracy Research at the University of Mannheim” is now available on campus and can also be read online.

To capture the right images for our theme of “democracy research,” we climbed to the top floor of Mannheim Palace for this issue of FORUM—to the famous Antikensaal. Why? Much like the idea of democracy itself, the statues and busts gathered there point back to antiquity. Downstairs in the Schloss, researchers at the University of Mannheim are investigating the current state of democracy. Twelve researchers share their insights in this FORUM—reporting on final and preliminary findings, survey results that shocked or surprised them, and even projects that didn’t pan out.

In addition, there are many articles on further research findings, campus life, and the people at the University of Mannheim. Edition 2/2025 is now available at various locations on campus—and all articles are also published online in both German and English.
