University of Mannheim Launches Diversity Climate Survey

The University of Mannheim is committed to fostering an inclusive and appreciative environment where all members—regardless of their personal backgrounds—have equal opportunities. With the university-wide Diversity Climate Survey, the Department of Equal Opportunity and Diversity aims to learn more about the perspectives and experiences of employees and students at the university.

The aim of the survey is to gain a better understanding of the diversity climate at the university. The topics covered include the appreciation and acceptance of diversity, experiences of discrimination and experiences of discrimination, and the availability of relevant services at the university.

The survey is an important step towards initiating targeted changes: The results help, for instance, to evaluate existing measures, develop new offers and make university interaction even more inclusive.

A personalized participation link was sent to all members of the university by email on 12 May 2025. Your participation is anonymous and confidential and will take approximately 10 to 20 minutes

If you have any questions about the survey or technical problems, please contact Dr. Nurith Epstein: nurith.epsteinmail-uni-mannheim.de

We would appreciate your participation.
