The master’s program Mannheim Master in Operations and Supply Chain Management (MMOSCM) offers a broad education in the field of operations and supply chains, is taught entirely in English, and is the optimal preparation for leadership positions in a global environment.
The program's content is divided into five areas:
- Foundations of Operations & Supply Chain Management (28 ECTS credits): These five courses will teach you the basics.
- Business Analytics (12–18 ECTS credits): This module will provide you with key skills in data analysis.
- Specialized Topics in Operations & Supply Chain Management (at least 12 ECTS credits): You can customize your profile in accordance with your interests and professional goals. The wide selection of in-depth courses allows you to specialize in your desired area.
- Business Interfaces(0–30 ECTS credits): Broaden your mind and think outside the box by taking supplementary courses in other areas of business administration.
- Theses (30 ECTS credits): At the end of your studies, you will complete a research-oriented seminar and write your master's thesis at one of the participating chairs.

By graduating from the MMOSCM program with at least the final grade “gut” (“good”), you fulfill the formal requirements for pursuing a doctorate in Business Administration at the University of Mannheim. At the University of Mannheim, you can choose from the following options:
- Students who have successfully completed their master’s degree qualify for a doctoral program at one of the chairs of Business Administration.
- Likewise, they have the possibility to begin a doctoral program at the Center for Doctoral Studies in Business of the Graduate School of Economics and Social Sciences (GESS).

Admission requirements
If you have not yet completed your bachelor’s degree, you may still apply for a master’s program as long as will provide a proof that you have obtained at least 140 ECTS credits.
- Completion of a bachelor’s program at a German higher education institution or abroad (also Berufsakademie) corresponding to at least 180 ECTS credits or a regular period of study of at least three years
- Courses in Business Administration corresponding to at least 36 ECTS credits
- Proof of proficiency in English (may be submitted by 15 August)
Selection criteria
- The final grade or – for students still completing their degree – the grade average of the bachelor’s program
- Relevant prior knowledge from studies in the fields of Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics amounting to at least 30 ECTS credits
- a semester abroad during the program of study
- GMAT or GMAT Focus Edition or GRE result
- Commercial or similarly relevant professional activities
