6. Empowerment Day of the Baden-Württemberg Stiftung

The 6th Empowerment Day of the Baden-Württemberg Stiftung will take place on 11. May 2022. With this event, the Baden-Württemberg Stiftung wants to motivate women to take charge of their career planning and strengthen personal skills.

To motivate women in science to take charge of their careers, the Foundation is holding its sixth Empowerment Day on May 11, 2022, to advocate for equality in the country.

This year's theme is “Really Equitable? Talking about Gender, Careers and Breaking Bias” and will be addressed in an exciting panel discussion. In addition, young female scientists from Baden-Württemberg will have the opportunity to participate in workshops on topics such as salary and appointment negotiations, repartee, “mental load,” “impostor syndrome,” and career paths for women in science.

The event, with the support of the Global Digital Women network, will take place digitally from 6–9 p.m. on 11 May 2022, via Zoom Conference. Attendance is free of charge.

Female students, PhD students and postdocs at Baden-Württemberg universities and non-profit non-university research institutions based in Baden-Württemberg can register. The event language is German, two of the five workshops will be held in English.
