Welcome of the First-Year Students

University president Professor Thomas Puhl and Christian Specht, Mayor of the City of Mannheim, will welcome the new first-year students during the Schneckenhof party of the departmental student committee for Business Administration.

On 7 September 2023, the Schneckenhof party of the departmental student committee for Business Administration starts at 8 pm. Starting at 9 p.m. President Professor Thomas Puhl and the mayor of the City of Mannheim, Christian Specht, will officially greet all first-year students at the Schneckenhof party and welcome them to the University of Mannheim.

All students – including those from higher semesters – who arrive at the Schneckenhof between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. will receive a voucher for a free beer and tequila shot – or alternatively a non-alcoholic drink. The vouchers can be redeemed at the bars in the court. Following the first-year student welcome, the Schneckenhof party continues.

Tickets are available at the advance sale of the Fachschaft BWL on 5 and 6 September from noon to 2 p.m. at the Mensawiese or at the venue.
