Division V – Human Resources, Appointments and External Funding

At Division V we take care of all human resources matters relating to employment at the University of Mannheim in the context of a collectively agreed or non-tariff employment, a civil service relationship, a paid teaching contract or a student or research assistant contract (including business trips). We are the point of contact for all questions regarding staff development as well as continuing education and training. In addition to that, we oversee the appointment and retention procedures and manage external funding.
