An aptitude test can help you choose the right degree program. However, no aptitude test is required for the application. You only need it once you have been admitted to a bachelor's program and would like to accept the study place. No test results are shown on this certificate. It merely proves that you have completed one of the necessary aptitude tests..

- “Was studiere ich?” aptitude test
The “Was studiere ich” (what should I study?) aptitude test provided by the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts Baden-Württemberg will help you find out which degree program suits you best. You will receive a certificate of participation after completing the test.

We also accept proof of the SIT aptitude test (Studium-Interessentest) provided by the German Rectors' Conference. - Check-U
The Federal Employment Agency offers the comprehensive Check-U aptitude test. - Aptitude test for prospective teachers
If you would like to enrol for a degree program in Teacher Education or Economic and Business Education, you must submit the Lehrerorientierungstest (aptitude test for prospective teachers). - Online Self-Assessment (OSA) – OSA Psych
In order to enrol in the bachelor's program in Psychology, uploading proof of the completed OSA-Psych is mandatory.
Taking one of the five tests (see above) is mandatory. Please submit the results with your enrollment.
University of Mannheim’s online self assessment

The online self-assessment provided by the University of Mannheim is designed to help you find the right degree program. At the end of the test, you will receive information about which degree programs match your interests. The test takes approx. 15 minutes to complete. - Reality check
Also find out whether your expectations of these degree programs actually correspond to the reality at the university. The reality check takes approx. 20 minutes to complete. - Reflecting on your motives
You can also reflect on the motives that drive you in choosing your program (takes approx. 5 minutes to complete).
The test was developed as part of the sMArt² project funded by the Ministry of Science, Research and Arts of Baden-Württemberg. It is a pilot project that does not cover all programs yet.
Please note: This test does not serve as proof of participation in an aptitude test that forms part of enrollment for a bachelor's program. Please take one of the aptitude tests listed above.
