    • Beware! No direct train connections between 15 July – 14 December 2024 on the Frankfurt/Main Airport – Mannheim train route

    • There is also a rail replacement service with buses between Frankfurt/Main Airport – Mannheim Hauptbahnhof (check information online (only in German) and at the airport)
    • Information on train connections and timetables can be found at www.bahn.de and in the DB Navigtor app
    • Due to the construction work, there may be route congestion and further delays, so please do not rely solely on the travel times given on the Deutsche Bahn website and be sure to plan a generous time buffer for your journey
    • If you have booked a personal move-in date for your room in the Studierendenwerk's halls of residence, a late arrival in Mannheim may mean that you miss the deadline and have to find a hotel/youth hostel for the first night
