Better study! Healthy and goal-oriented through studies in the HWS 2022

Studying as a person of color or as a non-white person in a majority white environment can be a challenge for your own well-being and learning success. When instead of your competencies, for example, your religious affiliation, skin color, or name is often at the forefront, these experiences of racism are debilitating in everyday (college) life.
Being a parent and studying can also mean: being in function mode, being responsible, being there for children, being strong. Often this is very challenging and a real balancing act. Especially in intense learning and exam phases and difficult situations, it is important to strengthen your health well-being and access your resources.
In order to cope with these challenges and to be able to study in a healthy and goal-oriented way, the University of Mannheim offers the following workshops:
- ‚Empowered‘ through everyday university life- on 2. November 2022 from 5:15 p.m. – 7:15 p.m.
