28.3.-8.4.22: Festival contre le racism

The festival contre le racisme is a nationwide week of events full of culture, politics and information that deals with topics such as racism, discrimination, social exclusion, asylum and anti-Semitism. The AStA of the university has three interesting events ready for you.

  • 29.03.22 5.30 p.m. to approx. 8.30 p.m.: Empowerment-Workshop für BIPoC;Room EW 151, University of Mannheim; Participants: BIPoC, register via fclrmail-asta-uni-mannheim.de
     
  • 31.03.22; 6 p.m. to approx. 8.30 p.m.: Once a Nazi, always a Nazi?
    Lecture and talk with Christian E. Weißgerber Room M003, University of Mannheim
    Speaker: Christian E. Weißgerber, trained cultural scientist and philosopher
    No limit to the number of participants, no registration needed.
  • 7.04.22, 5.30 p.m. to approx. 20.30 p.m.: postcolonial citytour; Startingpoint: Schillerplatz B3; Speaker: Sefa Yeter (Education consultant, critic of racism and empowerment trainer for BIPoC) in cooperation with the One World Forum Mannheim. Number of participants is limited, please write a short email with your name to fclr@asta-uni-mannheim.de to register. The tour will be in German but there will be translation into English if needed.

The offer is aimed at everyone, for the event with limited space, especially in the city tour, is allowed to participate first for students of the University of Mannheim, and then for other groups if there are free places.
