When “Buddies” Become Friends

The University of Mannheim's buddy program VISUM gives the opportunity to learn about cultures, to make new friends – or even to meet the love of their life. The initiative helps international students get settled at Mannheim by pairing them with an existing student who acts as their “buddy”.

New Exhibition in A3 Library

As part of a project funded by the Stiftung Kulturgut Baden-Württemberg (cultural heritage foundation), a team at the library indexed, reorganized, and digitized the collection. To celebrate the end of the project, the exhibition Desbillons’s Cosmos will open in the A3 Library in spring 2023.
