International Weeks against Racism start on 14 March 2022

This year’s International Weeks Against Racism will take place from 14 to 27 March, in Germany under the motto “Haltung zeigen” (“show a stance”). Every year since 1979, campaigns have been held around the 21 March.

In Germany, the foundation for the international weeks against racism coordinates an overview of lectures, online workshops, readings, projects and other formats with critical reflection and exchange. In the metropolitan region, the Intercultural Center Heidelberg participates in numerous events. This year, you will have the opportunity to collect and exchange information in Heidelberg until 15 May 2022.

The University of Mannheim stands for openness, tolerance and an appreciative and respectful approach. Among other things, it is clearly positioned against racism in the code of conduct. All members of the university receive counseling in the event of disadvantage and discrimination.
