As a central point of contact for teachers at the University of Mannheim, the ZLL is mainly concerned with supporting and developing courses, this includes the “Tag der Lehre”. Here, outstanding concepts are awarded the Teaching Award of the University of Mannheim. With new projects, digital teaching concepts and examinations are to be optimized and services and advice for academic further education are to be developed.
The ZLL offers advice, tips, and support in the design of digital teaching and examination formats. It also helps with questions about the learning platform ILIAS or video recordings and video editing. Training for teachers in higher education didactics, e.g. with the Baden-Württemberg Certificate for Teaching and Learning at University Level, is also the ZLL’s responsibility.
