ENGAGE.EU Coordinator Thomas Fetzer becomes new President of the University of Mannheim

The Professor of Law and current Vice President is set to take over from President Thomas Puhl in October.

From October 2023, Professor Dr. Thomas Fetzer will succeed Professor Dr. Thomas Puhl as Rector of the University of Mannheim. Since October 2021, Fetzer has been Vice President for Strategic Planning, Internationalization and Equal Opportunity at the University of Mannheim. In 2022, he took over the role of ENGAGE.EU Coordinator from Professor Dr. Dirk Simons.
