Margarethe Wrangell Female Junior Professor Program
The Margarethe Wrangell Program was relaunched in March 2023. It was newly tailored to female junior professors as applicants: female junior and tenure-track professors are given the opportunity to employ an early career female researcher (postdoc) for three years to strengthen their scientific profile and research field.
In addition to funding for the employment relationship (E13/E14), a qualification budget of 5,000 euros per year is available for the postdoctoral researcher, which is contributed by the university and provided from equal opportunities funds. Her doctorate must not have been completed more than two years ago at the time of application.
All female W1 professors (junior professors, tenure-track professors) who are employed at a state university in Baden-Württemberg in the first one and a half years after their appointment are eligible to apply.
Application deadline:
Applications can be submitted from now until May 31, 2025 and will be approved on an ongoing basis.
