On 23 May 2024, Germany celebrates the 75th anniversary of its Basic Law. The Basic Law is the basis for protecting individual freedom, equality, and dignity of all citizens – values which are increasingly questioned by extremist parties and their supporters. On Monday, 13 May, researchers of the University of Mannheim will discuss with panelists and the audience whether the Basic Law can withstand current challenges. The panel discussion will be moderated by Prof. Dr. Ralf Müller-Terpitz.

The language of the event will be German.
