Simulated Appointment Procedures

For Postdocs
The University of Mannheim gives postdocs the opportunity to participate in simulated appointment procedures, where they can prepare for their actual appointment procedure by holding simulated candidate lectures and participating in practice selection discussions.

Dates for simulated appointment procedures are announced by e-mail. If you want to take part, please send an e-mail to Ms. Bradt.

For Professors
As a professor, you can support early-stage researchers by acting as a member of a simulated search committee at one of these training sessions, where you can share your own experiences from actual appointment procedures.
