Award of the Karin Islinger Foundation 2025
In 2025, once again, the Karin-Islinger-Stiftung plans to honor excellent research work (doctoral dissertation) by young researchers of the University of Mannheim. Next to awarding the Karin Islinger Prize, the foundation council decided to support young researchers with further research funding. Prizes and funding will be awarded to researchers in the field of economics and its related fields of study.
Papers completed and evaluated in the spring or fall semester 2024 can be considered for the Karin Islinger Prize
The following documents need to be attached to the application:
- a favorable statement by the professor proposing the work
- one copy of each submitted work
- the evaluations for doctoral dissertations
- short version of the author's CV
- the author's current address.
In both cases, the application deadline is 16 May 2025. Applications have to be forwarded to the President's Office via Division IV – Finance and Procurement.
