Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)

The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) and GMAT Focus Edition are standardized tests, in English, which assess whether applicants are suitable for further study in the field of business. The tests can be taken online or at authorized test centers around the world.

In order to earn points in the selection process or to provide proof of your English language skills, you must pass one of those tests or the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) test achieving a minimum number of points – as specified in the selection statutes. The test center must pass on your results to us directly.

We can only accept a digital version of the Office Score Report/School Copy as part of your application. Please tell the test center the name of the degree program you are applying for (for example, Mannheim Master in Management) and the name of our university so that they can send this document to the University of Mannheim directly.

Once you have given this instruction, we will receive a digital version of your results, usually within fourteen days.

We cannot accept the Unofficial Score Report, which is generated soon after you take the test, as part of your application.
