Yesterday Miriam Buiten had the pleasure of talking at the annual conference of the Academic Society for Competition Law (ASCOLA) in Aix en Provence. Her talk considered the German competition authority's investigation into Facebook and, more broadly, the question of when tech giants might be abusing their dominant position by collecting too much data on their users, rather than charging high prices.
