Daimler and Benz Foundation: Scholarship Program 2024

Announcement of the Daimler and Benz Foundation’s Postdoctoral Scholarship Program 2024.

The Daimler and Benz Foundation is particularly interested in supporting dedicated researcher at an early stage of their careers. The aim of the program is to strengthen the autonomy of the next generation of researchers.

The funding program is aimed at postdocs, junior professors, and junior research group leaders who are planning their own research project or would like to expand an existing project. It is open to applicants from all scientific disciplines. The foundation is particularly pleased to receive applications from the hitherto underrepresented fields of the humanities, social sciences, and cultural studies.

The scholarships are granted for a period of two years, the funding amount is 40,000 euros. 

The application must include two confidential letters of recommendation. For the exact application modalities, please refer to the call for applications.

Applications for the 2024 scholarship program can be submitted online until October 1, 2023.
