MCDS Academic Speed Dating on Data Science
This event offers a unique opportunity to explore the latest research in data science being conducted at our university. Whether you are an established expert in the field or have had only limited exposure to it, we warmly welcome your participation. You may choose to attend as an observer, or, if you would like to present your own work, we have five available presentation slots (allocated on a first-come, first-served basis). The focus of this session will be on image and video analysis, though all interested researchers are welcome to attend.
The event will commence with a keynote lecture by Prof. Margret Keuper titled “Modern Computer Vision Models – Opportunities and Risks.” Following this, we will hear brief presentations from the participants and conclude with an informal discussion session during our get-together, accompanied by coffee and cake. We are delighted that Christopher Klamm has agreed to serve as the moderator for the event.
