New info-event: The ENGAGE.EU Brown Bag Sessions

The ENGAGE.EU staff of the University of Mannheim will inform about current activities and plans in the future. In short brown bag sessions, interested participants will get insights behind the scenes of ENGAGE.EU as well as background information on various topics from the individual work packages.

In the coming weeks and months, employees of the University of Mannheim who are active in ENGAGE.EU will give short presentations on various topics from the tasks of the European University. Afterwards, there will of course be plenty of time for questions, suggestions and discussions.

The first brown bag session will be held by Claudius Werry (Co-director of the International Office) on 7 December 2021 on the topic of “Online Teaching for ENGAGE.EU”. He will provide information on the current state of planning for the joint ENGAGE.EU course catalogue as well as on the various online offerings such as the Online Exchange Initiative, the plans for the ENGAGE.EU modules from HWS2022 onwards and the Signature Courses.

The second brown bag session on 9 December 2021 will focus on the topic of “ENGAGE.EU Green Mobility” from the perspective of the University of Mannheim. Kathrin Blitzke (Team Coordinator Study Abroad, International Office) will present the ENGAGE.EU Green Mobility Guidelines and give an insight into the current considerations on how these can be implemented in Mannheim.

More brown bag sessions will follow – feel free to check the events of the University of Mannheim regularly.
