Between 6 and 9 June, millions of Europeans from 27 different member states will elect the European Parliament. But the conditions to do so may vary in different states since voting regulations depend on the national election law of each country. Therefore, EUROPE DIRECT Karlsruhe and ENGAGE.EU want to inform the voting public through a short presentation about similarities and differences of the process, as well as about their rights and possibilities to participate in this election.
The event will take place on 6 May starting at 7 p.m. at the University of Mannheim in B6, 30–32 in Seminarraum 008.1 – 008.3. Afterwards, there will be an entertaining quiz with categories like European music, geography, history and sports. Snacks and drinks will be provided as well.
The event will be held in English, a registration is not required.
