The University of Mannheim has, once again, been ranked highly in the latest university ranking of the Centre for Higher Education (CHE). With its programs in Political Science, the University of Mannheim received the most top scores among German state universities. It is ranked among the top entries in twelve of the 15 categories. This confirms once again the excellent quality of education at the University of Mannheim.
According to this year’s ranking, Mannheim students of Political Sciences are very happy with conditions of study in general, the support during their studies and during the preparations for a semester abroad, the course offerings, the exams, and the library equipment, for example. First-year students also feel very well supported. In addition, the University of Mannheim is in the top group in terms of research funding per scientist. Prof. Dr. Michael Diehl, Dean of the School of Social Sciences, emphasizes, “This result shows that Mannheim's political science department implements the principle of unity of research and teaching in an exemplary manner; both are excellent.”
