Second meeting of Data Science working circle

The second working circle on digital business models and data literacy took place on 21 September 2022. The next face-to-face meeting of all participants is planned for spring 2023.

On 21 September 2022, the second meeting of the Data Science working circle, which was founded in May, took place at the University of Mannheim. The participants were asked in advance to name their favourite topics. The clear favourites were “Data Literacy” and “Digital Business Models”. After a get-together with lunch, the almost 20 participants divided into the two working groups. Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Jutta Mata and Prof. Dr. Heiner Stuckenschmidt, the exchange took place on the topic of data literacy. In the Digital Business Models group, the company representatives discussed the opportunities and risks of the business world of tomorrow and the possibilities for companies to adapt to them together with Prof. Dr. Florian Stahl and Prof. Dr. Markus Strohmaier.

The next meeting of the working circle is planned for spring 2023 and will further explore the aforementioned topics. Interested parties are very welcome, the University of Mannheim Foundation looks forward to hearing from you.
