Where admission to a degree program is selective, there is only a limited number of study places available on the program. If there are enough free places, all applicants may be granted admission. If the number of applicants is higher than the number of places available on the program, a selection process is used to allocate the places. This is done in line with national and state regulations, and the university’s selection statutes for the program in question.
