Call for Proposals for the Maria Gräfin von Linden Award

For the eleventh time, the Association of Baden-Württembergischer Wissenschaftlerinnen will award the Maria Gräfin von Linden Prize in 2021. This year, applications can be submitted for the two scientific fields, humanities and cultural studies and also mathematics/science/technology.

This award honors the research results and teaching skills of particularly qualified female scientists. The Association of Baden-Württembergischer Wissenschaftlerinnen is particularly concerned to promote young female scientists and to make their scientific achievements visible.

Every two years, the Association of Baden-Württembergischer Wissenschaftlerinnen symposia give particularly qualified young women scientists from the humanities and cultural studies as well as mathematical/scientific/technical fields the opportunity to speak about their own research work. In short presentations, they present a diverse range of research topics. The best presentation in each of the humanities/social sciences and natural/life sciences will be awarded the Maria Gräfin von Linden Prize.

The Maria Gräfin von Linden Award will be presented at this year's symposium “What Women Research – a Scientific Kaleidoscope” on Friday, November 5, 2021 online or at KIT in Karlsruhe. The deadline for proposals is August 31, 2021.

Further information on the call for proposals can also be found at the Association of Baden-Württembergischer Wissenschaftlerinnen (only available in German).
