An international learning experience, open to all Bachelor students at the University of Mannheim. During the one-week expedition, participants work together with other students, experts and mentors to find solutions to real-life societal problems.
During the ENGAGE.EU Expedition Week in Toulouse, participants will tackle challenges in the field of climate change and sustainability. Three topics will be covered:
- The climate emergency for cities is adaptation and mitigation of extreme temperatures
- Sobriety
- Circular economy and waste management at the scale of cities
Participation is free of charge for all nominated students. Financial support from the home university is possible. The programs are held in English.
Requirements: Groupwork in interdisciplinary and international teams. Students should be able to attend the program in Toulouse, France from 26 to 31 May 2024.
