On 25 November the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women aims to raise awareness to the various forms of violence and discrimination against women and girls.

The University of Mannheim targets and lists various forms of violence – such as sexual harassment, discrimination, inappropriate aggressive behavior and bullying – in its Code of Conduct of the University of Mannheim. It speaks out against all forms of violence in favor of a respectful and appreciative workplace relationships.
