One week all about sustainability

From 9 October to 13 October, the University of Mannheim will host the “Hochschultage Nachhaltigkeit” (University Sustainability Days).

The focus of the Hochschultage Nachhaltigkeit lies on the topic of sustainability, with events regarding the areas of business and law, politics, waste and recycling, the future and nutrition, which will take place every day starting from 3.30 pm. In addition to lectures, lecture series and panel discussions, there will be a variety of offerings. For example, the AStA will be showing the documentary film “Merchants of Doubt” at the University Cinema on the topic of economics and law, and the mini-workshop “Tasty Tofu” will be held on the topic of nutrition. The Hochschultage Nachhaltigkeit are organized by student initiatives of the University of Mannheim in the field of sustainability, in cooperation with the organization Scientists for Future Mannheim and the AStA of the University of Mannheim.

As a prelude to the University Days, a two-day sustainability conference (German-French Sustainability Dialog 2.0) and a workshop by Scientists for Future will take place. All interested parties are invited to the events, which will be held in both German and English.
