ENGAGE.EU is an alliance of leading European universities in business, economics, and the social sciences, which aims to provide European citizens the set of skills and competences needed to tackle major societal challenges. These existing and new challenges, such as digitalisation and artificial intelligence, climate change, ageing societies and migration, must be tackled successfully to ensure a sustainable and positive future. ENGAGE.EU will inspire active societal engagement in the current and future state of Europe – and beyond.
Barcelona: Ramon Llull University
Ramon Llull University (URL), located in Barcelona, is a private non-profit university that provides bachelor and master degrees as well as doctoral and postgraduate studies in all areas of knowledge. One of URL’s primary strategies has always been to guarantee the quality, innovation and excellence of the teaching and services it provides.
I love internationalization and being part of Engage.EU as the Local Coordinator of my university is a great honour for me! Sharing experiences and supporting new formulas... Quite a challenge.
Bergen: NHH Norwegian School of Economics
NHH Norwegian School of Economics is a public specialized university located in Bergen, Norway. NHH offers BSc, MSc, PhD and EMBA programs, and has approximately 3 500 students. NHH holds AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA accreditations, and is a member of CEMS, the Global Alliance in Management Education. NHH proudly holds collaborations and partnerships with organizations and institutions in over 50 countries of the world, where ENGAGE.EU is at the forefront.

Helsinki: Hanken School of Economics
Hanken School of Economics is one of the oldest business schools in the Nordics, founded in 1909. The School is an internationally accredited (EQUIS, AMBA, AACSB), research-based business school, located in Helsinki and Vaasa. Hanken has some 2.400students and it offers study programmes on all academic levels: Bachelor’s, Master’s and Phd’s. Hanken is famous for its good spirit and networks, and the barriers between students, faculty, alumni and the business community are low. The university maintains close links with the corporate world and promotes social responsibility in all its functions. Hanken – Nordic brilliance in the happiest country of the world.

Mannheim: University of Mannheim
The University of Mannheim with its approximately 12,000 students has a clear profile: It is characterized by renowned economic and social sciences and their connection with high-performance humanities, law, mathematics and informatics. In its core areas, Mannheim has ranked among the top 20 research universities in Europe for years. The university is known for its proximity to practice and the transfer of its knowledge to society: numerous researchers advise business, politics and society in their own institutes and associations or in national and international committees.

Rom: Luiss Guido Carli
Luiss is an independent university that evolved out of an earlier Roman institution, the Pro Deo, between 1974 and 1978. Throughout its four Departments of Economics and Finance, Business and Management, Law, and Political Science, Luiss offers an innovative and sophisticated educational approach.
Sofia: University of National and World Economy
UNWE: Established in 1920, the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) in Sofia is the largest and longest running higher educational institution of economics and business in Southeastern Europe. Toulouse: Toulouse 1 Capitole University
Committed to the pursuit of academic excellence and professional competence as early as 1970, when it opened, Toulouse 1 Capitole university is a public establishment which originated from the Faculty of Canon Law created in 1229 by King Saint Louis. Today, it is a Law, Economics and Management University whose priority is the emphasis on international networks so as to promote scientific collaborations as well as students’ and researchers-lecturers’ exchanges. Wien: WU – Vienna University
WU – Vienna University of Economics and Business has over 21,000 students from Austria and abroad and is one of Europe‘s largest business and economics universities.
