Ukraine Emergency Fund

University of Mannheim Foundation collects donations for early-stage researchers affected by the war in Ukraine

The war in Ukraine leaves many researchers with nothing. The Stiftung Universität Mannheim (University of Mannheim Foundation) and the University of Mannheim have set up an emergency fellowship fund for early-stage researchers affected by the war.

Early-stage researchers from Ukraine and Russia, who have fled the country or are at risk and who are in financial need due to the war, are eligible for this emergency funding, which then allows them to continue their academic work, for example their doctoral studies, at the University of Mannheim. The emergency fund is designed to support twelve fellows for a maximum of twelve months. Donations can be made via an online form or via bank transfer:

Bank account for donations: Stiftung Universität Mannheim, BNP Paribas
