Being able to present oneself well in the media and being visible as a scientist has become indispensable – for the public perception of scientific projects and to be able to communicate the relevance of one's own research in a very concrete way.
The event, organized by the Department of Equal Opportunity and Social Diversity in cooperation with the LaKoG at the University of Mannheim, will provide you with practical tips and concrete exercises. TV journalist and former ZDF correspondent Susanne Gelhard will guide participants through input, exchange of experiences and practical video exercises, so that they can confidently move between science and the media at the end.
