The University of Mannheim mourns the loss of Professor Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Knut Borchardt who passed away on 5 February 2023 at the age of 93. From 1966 until 1967, Borchardt was President of the University of Mannheim.

New Executive Vice President Now Officially in Office

Since 1 January 2023, Dr. Katrin Schoppa-Bauer is the Executive Vice President of the University of Mannheim. On 8 February, she officially assumed office at a ceremony in the university’s Aula.
