Why I chose the program

Studying Psychology includes basic research, applied subjects, and methodology. The basic subjects such as social, learning, personality, motivational or perceptual psychology often provide theories that you apply in the applied subjects such as Work and Organization Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Consumer Psychology or Educational Psychology. To be able to work empirically and scientifically in those areas, psychologists also need sound knowledge in the field of methodology. In the master's program, you will deepen your knowledge obtained during the bachelor’s program and specialize in the field of Social Psychology or Educational Psychology.

I decided to study Psychology because it is so diverse and I found many areas very exciting. In the end, I focused on Work, Economic and Social Psychology in the master's program, because the program continues the diversity of topics of the bachelor's program and allows for a focus on Social Psychology. But the master's program also offers very good opportunities for those who would like to specialize in Consumer Psychology, Educational Psychology or Work and Organizational Psychology!
