Diego Andres Perez Ruiz wins the 2019 Cochran-Hansen Prize of the International Association for Survey Statisticians

Winner of the Cochran-Hansen Prize 2019
The Cochran-Hansen Prize of the IASS is awarded every two years for the best paper on survey research methods submitted by a young statistician from a developing or transition country. The prize was established in 1999.
IASS is glad to announce that the winner of the 2019 prize is Diego Andres Perez Ruiz from Mexico. He will present a paper entitled „Supplementing Small Probability Samples with Nonprobability Samples: A Bayesian Approach“ in the IASS Special Invited Lecture and Cochran-Hansen Prize Lecture Session at the 62nd World Statistics Congress of the ISI. The paper is co-authored with Arkadiusz Wiśniowski, Joseph W. Sakshaug and Annelies Blom.
